Express Oil Change & Service Center

I want to thank Tyson, the manager, at Express Oil Change in Apex NC. I moved here a little over a year ago, and he has helped me stay safe on the road. Tyson is knowledgeable, takes time to explain thoroughly, and answer all my questions. I am so grateful for the outstanding customer service, and excellent maintenance/mechanical services on my car. I have needed service a few times, while on my daily routes, and they have gotten me in, serviced my car, and back on the road safely, without trying to overcharge or upcharge for unnecessary repairs. I got a conventional oil change today and a tire rotation and balance the service was awesome but the price was Questionable. $135 especially since I didn't get a synthetic oil change which they said was about $25 more please don't follow in my footsteps get a price quote before hand .ok rant over

On August 15, 2025, I asked Christian for a quote on an oil change. I was asked for information, and I provided it, thinking it would be used to identify my specific vehicle to ensure they have the oil and filter in stock. I was given a quote of $160 for the oil and oil filter change. I declined the service and planned to go elsewhere while I was waiting in the vehicle, awaiting the quote. I was informed that my vehicle had been drained of oil, and the oil change process had started. By them draining the oil, it made it difficult for me to decline their service and leave without fear of engine damage. I asked and should have been told upfront what the charge was prior to starting. It may be a 10-minute service, but it takes less time than that to inform me of the cost. I disputed the $160

Had my oil change done here recently and have mixed feelings about the experience. The service itself was efficient and the staff was professional, but I was surprised by the final cost. I had the absolute worst experience at this oil changing business! I took my truck in for a simple oil change, but when I got it back, I noticed oil leaking all over my driveway. Upon further inspection, I discovered that the oil screw on my oil pan had NOT BEEN TIGHTENED BACK ON! How could they forget something so basic and important?! When I went back to the shop to have them fix their mistake, I had to argue for them to top off the oil. 3 quarts! About 3 days ago I looked under the hood to add window washer fluid and noticed my oil cap was MISSING.
