EZ Star Smog Oakland

Had a great experience at EZ Star Smog today. How many times has my 2005 Acura failed to pass the smog test only to have to return multiple times? But at EZ Star Smog, Richard reassured me that most cars pass and mine did on the first try! Whew! What a relief! Thank you, Richard!

Went here to get my registration taken care of because I couldn’t change my address online. Richard was super professional and helped me in 10 minutes. Way better than going to the DMV. He also does smogs—I highly recommend this shop.

This morning I went to EZ Star Smog Oakland on San Pablo & 34th Street. I met with Richard Martinez, the owner of, who explained everything that he needed to do for testing the emissions on our car. I was impressed by his professionalism and while talking with him, realized he could also complete my registration and provide me with a sticker good til 2025! I was delighted to let him handle all of my paperwork! Richard own his business and takes great pride in providing great service!

They were super easy to use and saved me a lot of headache in heading into the DMV. Richard was great and very helpful in not only smogging my new-to-me vehicle, but helping get it registered too.

Great place for a SMOG. Great customer service. Also the DMV services were awesome-saved me from having to hassle with the DMV. Will definitely be back.
