Firestone Complete Auto Care

If I could give zero stars, I would. I received an oil change on 11/20 at 2:00pm. By 11/21 at 10:00 my “oil pressure low” notification. I was in round rock for an appointment and luckily I was less than a mile from another Oil change place. At the new oil change place, they advised my oil gasket was never replaced and was in fact under the hood, therefore I had nearly zero oil. I will not return to this Firestone or another Firestone.

Great experience overall. I called in advance to ask if there was a wait, which they confirmed and said they'd still be able to get me in that day anyway so I showed up without an appointment and was immediately helped. I was in and out in about an hour, including an emissions test and oil change. I even brought the car in with my tire air pressure light on and had been meaning to fill them up myself, but they did it for me, no extra charge, and were overall very pleasant to work with. The reviews made me wary and maybe some services deserve the 3.5, but for my needs that day it was totally a 5 star experience.

Staff is extremely rude, even in front of management. I think manager is a good guy but has his hands tied, can’t fire lousy, rude employees. I have been a customer at this specific Firestone for it least 15 years and have never had issues until recently. We had new shocks put on my wife’s car. They did not put all the bolts on the left rear shock, so as my wife drove away, it started to make a terrible noise. If you are familiar with the location, you pull out onto Congress and it is impossible to turn around or stop. My wife drove away a few blocks until she could pullover, called me and then she walked the rest of the way home. I walked down to the vehicle and drove it back to Firestone. My colleagues and I were traveling through Austin on a business trip to San Antonio. We were in a rental car from Enterprise. When I walked into the showroom, I was greeted with a smile and kindly asked how he could help me. He was able to promptly diagnose the issue and repair our tire, getting us back on the road quickly. Due to this service, we still made it to our destination with time to spare. Thank you so much for your help!

I came in with an oil change and regular maintenance and had a great experience! Javier and the staff were friendly and professional and got me taken care of quickly. Excellent experience from start to finish. The staff was professional, transparent about pricing, and took the time to explain the repairs. The work was done right and on time. I’ll definitely be coming back.
