Firestone Complete Auto Care

My partner ended up getting two screws in two different tires this week on his car, so he took it to Firestone on Lone Tree to get them fixed since that's where he purchased the tires. After waiting around for an hour and a half, they told him one screw was too close to the side wall and the other one couldn't be repaired for whatever reason, and recommended getting two new tires. The thing is, these tires only have 15k miles on them! Firestone stated they were NOT repairable. I was shocked - so today I took the car to Cutino's in Oakley. They fixed both tires for $35 each. I feel validated now at how much I questioned Firestone. The difference between a corporate owned shop and a family owned business is EVERYTHING!!!! Thank you Cutino's!!!! AVOID Firestone. They let my partner drive away

Firestone was top notch. I was able to schedule an appointment convenient to me and fast. Their staff was friendly and professional. They are one of the few tire shops to check and repair slow tire leaks for free. I highly recommend Firestone and I'll be back for other services they offer.

These guys are honestly some modest and hard working people. I brought my car in last minute and they say they could squeeze me in and get it done by tomorrow, it was having really bad brake issues and didn’t want to take the risky overdoing it, but they ended up giving me a call later that day. They did a really good job overall, John and Alex were really cool people as well. Thank you.

I’ve known John for over 10 years now, and he’s always been one of the most reliable and trustworthy people I’ve dealt with when it comes to my cars. He gives honest, realistic time frames for the work, and if something doesn’t seem right, he’ll double-check it himself. I never have to question the quality of the work he or his team does. What I really like about John is that he’s upfront and straightforward. I’d rather have someone be real with me about timing than overpromise just to make me happy. Every time I leave, I feel like I got my money’s worth and was treated fairly. John used to work at Wheel Works in San Leandro, and now I actually drive all the way to Brentwood just so he and his team can work on my cars. That should tell you how much I trust him. I had a 10:00 appointment for an oil change. I usually go to the place around the corner from my house mainly because I can sit in my truck while they do the oil change it usually takes about 15 minutes. I saw my truck going into the bay a little after 10:00 so I couldn't figure out why an hour later I'm still sitting in the waiting room. I walk outside and see my truck still in the bay. I go back inside and sit down, I see my truck through the window driving towards the parking area I figure okay we're done. I wait 10 minutes and nothing. I walk outside and see my truck parked. I go back in and tell the agent my truck is parked outside why am I still here? 10 minutes later the agent comes out and says you're all set and tells me the cost with no explanation. I was so pisse
