Firestone Complete Auto Care

I had cooling system repairs a few weeks ago. I was seeing fluid under the right front of my vehicle every day since, looked in the radiator, couldn't see fluid. Took it back to have them see why and the tech said nothing is wrong, just needed more fluid. I pointed under the vehicle and said then why is there a puddle. He said he spilled some fluid when filling the radiator. Took it home and still getting puddles...my brother in law (mechanic by trade) looked at the radiator and said the cap was loose and there might be a leak in the radiator itself. I guess I'll have to go back and try again😡😡

I will begin with acknowledging the tires/alignment are just fine. However everything else is horrifically fraudulent (IMO). First I agree on the tires suggested, then I am told that I could get a discount if I use their credit card so they have me apply. After they hit my credit and approve the card, they tell me they don't have the tires in stock and they have to be delivered from another store. Will only be 20 minutes max. An hour and half later, they show up. Then they finally get to work. Only to find that 1 was the wrong size. So another hour later it arrives and they can finish the final wheel and move onto the alignment. While waiting for the tire to arrive, I am told I need brakes (I didn't!) and told that I needed an air filter (I did) but no one authorized them to check my eng

I found everyone very friendly and helpful. I was greeted by a mechanic that remembered me from before and he took my car in after I told him my problem. Going into the office they were very helpful explaining what was being done to my car and what they would check my car for. They also explained the bill which I found reasonable.

This Firestone does not operate within accordance of Florida law. What they are doing to unsuspecting people is ILLEGAL. We dropped our car off at lunch for coolant. Later they called and mention it may need a thermostat or the vehicle will “blow” (not true). My fiance informed them that she was at work and would be by after to discuss. Upon visiting after work, she was told they performed the thermostat work and a coolant flush (unauthorized repairs). This is mafia level extortion and should be condemned by Firestone corporate as it is illegal. We have filed a formal complaint with Florida Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services as this violates the Florida Motor Vehicle Repair Act 559.xxx. We will be pursing this to the fullest extent. Terrible customer service. Go to the Firestone on 6th Ave, Brian will take better care of you! Came in at 8am sharp to try and get some help with my tires. I did not have an appointment, but I just had all 4 of my tires replaced at this location. I figured they could quickly tell me if I have a nail or something causing my light to come on so soon. Older guy at the front was so dismissive, his smile towards his coworkers quickly turned to a flat-frown face when speaking to me. He basically told me I wouldn’t get my car back until the end of the day. Which is fair since I don’t have an appointment, but it was really how he said it.
