Ford Automatic Transmission Operations

I’ve been delivering to this Ford transmission plant for a while now, and it’s without a doubt one of the worst places to deliver as a truck driver. The staff at the shipping and receiving office are extremely unprofessional, and what makes it worse is the clear racism and discrimination happening here. If you’re a white driver, you’ll get a smile, patience, and polite treatment. But if you’re a person of color or from a different background, expect to be disrespected, talked down to, yelled at, and treated like you don’t belong there. I’ve personally dealt with this multiple times, especially from the lady working night shifts at shipping/receiving — the one who drives the black Ford Explorer. She’s consistently rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. The same goes for the older

The lady at the second guard shack is equivalent to the fluids you find at the bottom of a dumpster on a hot summer day. The rest of the staff was friendly.

Extremely unprofessional and poorly managed. I waited in line at the Ford Plant in Livonia for five hours only to be told by the next shift that they didn’t have space to unload my truck. This has happened multiple times, and the staff are rude and dismissive. They don’t value drivers’ time, and the process is completely unorganized. Many drivers, including myself, are now refusing to come back to this location. Ford needs to fix this to avoid losing more drivers.

Docks 23/24 both A and B will leave you speechless! They’re SOOO rude and angry for literally no reason. These people need to understand what it is to get what you give, so be prepared to cuss them! The worst Ford plant in the whole MI 👎🏻

Unorganized, unprofessional, and incompetent, the people who unload the trucks will take 2-6 hours at door 25. Edit: No one does their job here. Workers don't have any concern for the drivers who deliver here. The truckers could be close to their time or have their driving time within a considerable time range, but the workers don't care if they waste two to five hours with making people wait to the point where they're now working illegally. It's unfortunate how people don't care about a system revolving around drivers who are transporting their parts for them.
