I had a very disappointing experience with Freedom Collision in Morgantown, WV. What was originally quoted as a week and a half repair turned into over a month without my vehicle. Communication throughout the process was inconsistent, and expectations were not properly managed from the start. I was notified that my car was ready for pickup, but when I arrived, there were multiple issues with the repairs. Several items had not been replaced properly, and a portion of my rear bumper that I was billed for had not been replaced at all. I was horrified when I hit a deer that ran out in front of me on the interstate in my 2024 Honda Civic Sport. This shop was initially very friendly and was able to get our vehicle in after a collision for repair quickly through the insurance’s preferred program. The initial process was great, however this quickly turned when we went to pickup our vehicle. Upon inspecting the vehicle, the tire/rim had not been touched from the incident. The body panel had multiple paint blemishes. The seams of the fender well, taillight, and body panel were not seamless and had gaps large enough to fit your finger under. The fender well was put back with silver screws instead of the typical plastic black clips, and the mud flap appeared to be on a bind and was also sticking out. I made an appointment to get an estimate done on my vehicle for damages that I needed repaired. I made the appointment for 10:30, showed up 15 minutes early. Front desk staff was very sweet and easy to work with. The staff member, Heather, was extremely difficult from the beginning. She told me I needed an insurance claim for an estimate, so I called my insurance and put her on the phone with them. Heather was extremely disrespectful to my insurance agent who happens to be a close friend and was very disrespectful to me as well. I waited 2 hours for my estimate just for her to hand it to me and tell me that it wasn’t even remotely accurate.
