On February 3rd, I brought my car in for service at Friendly Honda, where I bought this car about 2 years ago. The mechanic informed me that one of my tires had an unrepairable hole. He said the damage was located on the shoulder of the tire, close to the edge, and therefore could not be repaired. He recommended replacing all four tires at an estimated cost of approximately $1,000. I decided to wait and told him I would address it later. After driving for a couple of days, I noticed low tire pressure, confirming there was a leak. I then took my car to a tire shop. They found a hole (while I was watching) in the bottom center of the tire’s tread (the crown area), which was clearly repairable. I had an incredible experience with Victoria in the service department that truly deserves recognition. While driving home from work on the highway, multiple dashboard error messages suddenly appeared and my car began braking on its own. It was honestly an uncomfortable situation. I immediately called the dealership but I lost cell connection. So I left it at that and kept trying to figure out what to do. To my surprise, Victoria from the service department actually called me back shortly after. I was not expecting that at all, and it immediately showed a level of attentiveness and care that you don’t often see. As the year is coming to an end, I can't help but look back at 2025 and continue to be grateful for Stephanie in the Friendly Honda Service Department. We only use Stephanie as our contact when we're getting work done on our vehicles. Unfortunately for us, we had a lot of maintenance done on both vehicles in a short amount of time, but Stephanie always does her best to find ways for us a save money, or defer maintenance if we can. We have built a relationship of trust with her and I won't have work done anywhere else! Her communication is top notch, and I always know what is happening and the time table around the work being done. Friendly Honda is so lucky to have her! I was here on 2/3. I had a few issues with my car and service advisor James Borchers was excellent. The customer service he provided was top notch. He communicated very well via text throughout the day and made sure everything was taken care of, even the recall I had pending on my car so I wouldn’t have to come back and make another appointment!
My wife just spent a lot of money on a brand new 2026 Honda pilot and the windshield cracked while being in the GARAGE overnight. It has less than 6,000 miles on it. She also had her windshield crack on BOTH of her NEW CRV's that she bought at Friendly Honda. We had her insurance pay for the 2 CRV's bought didn't want another insurance claim for this Pilot because her insurance premium's will go through the roof. The windshield's cracking on these CRV's and Pilot's are KNOWN issues. And of course the service department are jerking me around and don't want to replace the windshield. They are trying to say that the windshield was hit by a rock. The windshield was fine when the car was put in the garage over night but was cracked in the morning.
