Tim, the owner of garage cats is the best mechanic I have ever taken my car to in all of Los Angeles! I needed a new transmission put into my Volkswagen Beetle that's been broken for over a year now. Tim at garage cats exceeded my expectations and i am a very happy customer! He took the time to make sure he did an excellent job, instead of rushing the work and overcharging me like most mechanics will! Tim is very honest and is an outright genius with cars! There was a bunch of other small repairs needed and he did not charge me for labor, he only charged labor for the transmission job! This place labor is overpriced. Tim last year charged me $750 for change transmission core on 2006 Prius it’s more expansive than his next door shop, but still around the market. Today Sayid charge me $300 for 1 hour job, I was shocked! He just pressed four wheel bearings in ALREDY DISASSEMBLED KNUCKLES AND SPINDLES. He never give me any estimates for it. Toyota dealership charge you less 100%. Be very careful with this place.

Best place to find an honest & knowledgeable mechanic who loves cars and enjoy fixing them as they ideally should be fixed, no cheap shortcuts. Tim is the best!!!
