I've taken my 1997 4Runner there three different times now and have great experiences with Gary's automotive every time. They are honest and my 4Runner is still going with their help. So don't hesitate these guys will get the job done and won't break your piggy bank. I know I will be there again for any other needs for any of my car's. Give them a call you won't be disappointed.

truly incredible place. absolutely the greatest mechanic shop I’ve ever encountered. we were stuck in Chico for 2 days on the weekend, Monday morning they said they’d try to get to it that day, and they not only fixed our alternator, but fixed it within just a couple hours. they charged us $300 LESS than Tedious Auto Repair in Chico. god bless this place, truly. thank you so much

So I have jumped around a lot from auto shops due to customer service and the work done on my vehicles. I honestly think Gary’s automotive is one of the best if not the best in town! They are super friendly, and have the friendliest little shop dog. I have driven over there a couple times due to not being mechanically intelligent about my vehicle and I’ve always had someone drop everything and help me and give advice on what to do next. They are super patient with me when I don’t understand something and do great work in a timely manner. If they can’t do something, they always recommend the best place to do it with the best prices. Would highly recommend!
