I came to General Auto Body Works to get my car fixed after it was hit. When I first came Justin provided me with an accurate and reasonable quote. From reading the reviews and seeing some of their work I knew my car would come out looking great. I initially went in for front and back bumper damage and Justin looked out and touched every mark/ spec on my car. It so shiny and just absolutely beautiful. MY CAR LOOKS BRAND NEW AS IF IT JUST CAME STRAIGHT FROM A MERCEDES DEALERSHIP. This is definitely my new body shop and mechanic. I plan on bringing my other vehicles here for work next week haha! I definitely can’t speak highly enough about General Auto Body Works! This place went above and beyond to expedite my repair, did fantastic work!! The customer service is phenomenal. I recommend everybody to go to General. I live in Brooklyn location but they took my car to their location to finish the work faster. I was all the time updated, when the repairs were complete, the car was driven to my house and they took my rental back. Just a wonderful experience!

Today July 30, 2025. I visited this workshop based on a recommendation from a friend. I had an issue with the AC for my ford E250 van. I checked the pressure before I went to the shop and it was high. When I arrived at the shop the employee checked the front of the van visually and said the evaporator damaged. I knew if the evaporator damage there will be no gas in the system. I asked him to check the pressure. He agreed, the gauges read 40 psi on low side and 75 psi on high side. After a few minutes both gauges read 0 psi. When contacted the owner and told him that his employee recovered all the refrigerant so as to charge me for a replacement of an evaporator he got angry and chased me out his shop

They kept me informed every step of the way, explaining in details what was wrong with the engine and what needed to be done. Repairs were completed promptly, and the quality of their work was top-notch. My car is running better than ever! “General” went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with their work.
