I had an excellent experience at General Automotive. Matt, the owner, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and extremely fair throughout the entire process. The service was done professionally, the communication was great, and the pricing was more than reasonable. I highly recommend General Automotive for anyone looking for honest, reliable work and outstanding customer service.

My car started shaking and the engine light came on 🥴 I was 2 hours away from home. But luckily I found General Automotive and they, very professionally, diagnosed the problem, explain how they were going to deal with the issue. They gave me a quote and approximately how long it would take. Sure enough I got the call earlier than expected. I got home and I am very thankful for their honesty but must of all their professional work.

After 1.5 years of driving with roaring front noises and ABS sensors going off, Matt found the issue in a 3 minute test drive. Other major auto centers made me replace the brake rotors🥹 I was referred to him by major and local auto parts store nearby, which saved me tons $$$ in the end. Yesterday I took my Jeep to General Automotive to have the late mileage tune up done. Matt was great through the entire experience. During the routine maintenance work I requested, Matt discovered that I had a water pump leak. This is a critical component to the vehicle and due to this leak my existing coolant level was low. Even with the additional work needed, he still honored getting the vehicle back to me that day. When I arrived for pickup I asked him about other work in his opinion that should be done to keep my high mileage engine going. He offered me low pressure options letting me know when those things could be done in the future.
