Genuine Auto Parts

As a disabled veteran who has told countless people how great this place is I can't express what a disappointment my visit was today. After verifying that the part I needed was here, I ended up having to walk all the way from Niagara Avenue to the store. When I got there I was out of breath I couldn't hardly walk and I told them how unbelievable it is for a disabled veteran I can barely walk, not finding one place that sells bus passes, or one place to use the restroom. I walked out of the store with my part without even being offered a chance to use the restroom. Once outside the front door a black gentleman ask me if I could go back in the store and have someone come out and help him because he had only one leg. Originally called there on a Saturday and was told they had to get the part from the warehouse and would call when it arrived. No call, then when I tried to call they was closed until Monday morning. Went to pick up the part only to find out that the wrong part was picked up and the worker that was helping me discovered the part isn't available at all. This has set me back from working. I'm giving it 3 stars because the worker that helped me at on location was very helpful otherwise it would have gotten a lower score.

iv'e been lucky, and haven't had to go to a parts store in a very long time, but when I do, I choose these guys. why? ---> *Friendly, right parts given etc.* I called the Salem Ave Location just a few mins ago, The guy asked me what was I looking for, & after I told him, he politely said >thanks for calling the store today< simple right....NO its Amazingly outside the norm!! especially on this side of town (which I live) I havent been to the other stores in over ten years (their competitors) why you ask, well plain & simple, if you want the feeling of you are keeping someone from their F.book profile or you are just a bothersome, well you get what I'm saying..these guys @ Genuine auto Parts are A-1 in my book!! all without the ghetto, bling, hip talking BS.

Not safe to shop here. Only 1 staff member had on a mask which was on his neck. They literally smoke inside the building . Can we say potential death zone. No masks and blowing smoke. Shop at your own risk!!!!

Had to make a spontaneous trip to buy wiper blades. The gentleman said they don't usually install, but he would help me out. I'm wiper installation challenged, and I own it! Thank you, sir!
