George Automotive in Danville has taken great care of my vehicles for years. I’m very particular about who touches my vehicles, and they’re easy to schedule with, quick to get the work done, and the quality has always been solid. They always follow up before service to remind me about appointments and check in afterward to make sure everything was done right and that I’m satisfied. If it’s something I don’t want to tackle myself, they’re always my first choice. The staff is super responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. It’s nice knowing I have a shop I can trust and count on every time. Highly recommend.

Negative experience. Went in for an oil change which was fine, but when I went to pay they took me aside and recommended “emergent” brake servicing for safety for our family vehicle which seemed suspicious to me because of the newness of the car and relative recency of our purchase, but our last car had a braking issue so we’re a little sensitive to the topic, so I was going to pay the $1,200 to have pads, rotors, hoses and all changed out. But then they recommended several more maintenance items which I felt fairly certain were recently completed so I said I wasn’t interested. They pulled up the Carfax and pointed out that these items weren’t listed and so hadn’t been completed and were overdue. I countered that they could have been done and not listed on carfax. I was traveling through PA when my car broke down on a Friday afternoon at 4:45. A very quick search of nearby auto repair shops led me to George Auto Repair. This was very fortunate - they answered the phone, helped arrange a tow and had me back on the road within two hours, just enough time to enjoy dinner across the street. They saved me a hotel room and a delayed trip.

This place was recommended from my friend plus I got one of their advertisements in the mail about their garage so I called to get an estimation on pricing for my flex pipe on my exhaust, they got me in the same day I got my estimation came back. The next day dropped off my vehicle and they worked on it. Very friendly place very respectful.

Great experience. A list of recommendations was prioritized by importance and safety and the customer chooses from the list. Totally satisfied. Given my limitations, they even brought me my car. I will recommend to family!
