I came here after an undesirable experience at another Gerber location. The folks at the Hammond Gerber location were efficient, friendly and very accommodating. The young lady at the front desk even helped me get through some insurance red tape and get my rental car set up for me. She heard me trying to navigate the insurance voice-prompt maze on my phone and went out of her way to help me cut througn that BS. After dealing with the headaches of a fender-bender and the stress of insurers, body shops, etc, I am SO APPRECIATIVE for the help of these kind people.

The people here at Gerber collision & Glass are very courteous very patient in thoughtful. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs to have work done on their vehicle. 🤗

I had the worst experience ever with the lady office manager, at this business. Outside of everything Mr Kevin is a nice man. However, the office Mgr called the police on me when I simply asked (in a mono tone) why my vehicle will not start after I brought it in this place to get my wheel sensors fixed and left it in their care

After months of having my vehicle in the shop for repairs, my bill doubled and rose over $10,479 + fees for the rentals while it sat, more than the value of the car. Many body clips were left unattached after the repairs including the entire skid plate. When the vehicle was returned, a new check engine light was on and has not since been resolved. Further the fuel cap tether was missing and the aftermarket taillight assembly is missing a bulb, not matching the other side. Had they been honest, I would have never allowed them to work on my vehicle. I believe they've purposely quoted low to lock in the service and cut corners most of the way through. If your looking for perfection this is not the place. There was damage only to lower front bumper but still aligned fine. I chose factory parts but after work the bumper doesn’t align like it did before. The color doesn’t match like before either. Very disappointing. UPDATE*** Took car back and gave them 2 more tries and the paint and alignment is still not right. Taking my car somewhere else.***
