We just had our BMW X3 serviced for its right rear side and bumper damage with a perfect job at Gerber Collision at this Skokie location. We are highly grateful for technicians doing a such outstanding job fixing all functional parts, especially the art looking painting work that perfectly matching original. Amanda was such an angel during the whole process of taking care of my car that was unfortunately totaled. From the moment I walked in off the tow truck, she was so endearing asking if I was ok after seeing my destroyed car out on the tow. She handled everything with my insurance and getting my car taken care of and removed. It really took a lot of weight off my shoulders having one less thing to worry about after totaling my car. Amanda is amazing at her job and I'm glad I had the pleasure of working with her :)

They recently completed work on my in-law’s Honda Civic, including front bumper replacement, hood, and painting. She picked up the car and brought it to me two days later so I could take a look. Here’s what I found: 1.Paint color does not match 100% 2.Hood struts are missing — the hood could fly open onto the windshield if not handled carefully 3.Right turn signal is loose, and the bumper is sticking out 4.Hood support rod has detached and was rattling violently while driving I have to ask: who is responsible for final inspections, and how did a vehicle in this condition get approved for release? I’ll be contacting the insurance company to request they withhold payment until all issues are properly resolved.

Where do i start, brought my car in Monday for a cracked front windshield, and a damaged sunroof. Was told it maybe 2 days, well 2 turned into 3, with no repair to the sunroof. These clowns actually mess the car up more inside, than when i brought it in. Was charged $400. for a windshield. After taking the car home i and checking-out the entire car, i found all kind of problems that their workers left unfinished. THEY DO CRAPPY WORK (at least on my car).

I took my SUV to Gerber after an accident for an estimate due to front bumper damage and engine issues, including overheating and white smoke. I specifically asked the estimator to only provide an estimate, but they repaired the front bumper anyway and told me to see a mechanic for the engine problems. The insurance covered the bumper repair, but I had to pay the deductible. Now, the car is not drivable, and the insurance won’t cover the engine replacement. It seemed pointless to fix the bumper without addressing the engine issues. Despite my request not to repair the bumper, Gerber went ahead with it, citing that I had signed a form allowing them to do so. I feel they took advantage of my situation and prioritized profit over providing the best solution for me. I wouldn’t trust them again
