I am very impressed with the service I received at Gerber Collision Waipahu. They were a recommended partner shop for my insurance, and they truly came to the rescue after someone hit my 2017 Honda Accord Sport SE while it was parked. I'm usually wary of the estimate process--I always worry a shop will underestimate damage with a 'we can just buff that out' attitude. However, Asialee was fantastic and performed a thorough evaluation of my Accord, correctly deciding that the rear bumper needed a full replacement. The timeline was incredible: Friday (2/20): Estimate Wednesday (2/25): Drop-off for repair Friday (2/27): Repair complete! I've never had such a quick turnaround from a repair shop. They took excellent care of my vehicle, even giving it a quick wash (poor thing suffers from landlor

I wanted to thank Mr. James Carlos and his awesome team for an outstanding job 👏 on correcting some discrepancies on some body work with my vehicle. My hats off to Ms . Maria Tolete for always helping and giving us updates on the status of our vehicle. At first I was disappointed with the repairs the first time but after everything was addressed and corrected we're very grateful and very satisfied. I got hit on December 1st, 2025. Gerber collision wouldn’t take in my car for a week. They told me my car would be ready by the first week of January. They then told me my car wasn’t ready, and told me it would be ready by the end of January. So, by this point, they have had my car for almost TWO MONTHS. They send email updates, letting you know that your car is on track and will be done on time. They then send an email saying my car will take TWO MORE WEEKS until it’s finished, two days before it was supposed to be done. Mind you, I have a family of six. We have to pay for a rental this entire time. I call and ask to move us up in their queue since they’ve basically been lying to us this entire time and taking forever to fix my car. We recently had the pleasure of working with Gerber Waipahu (Maria & James in particular), following damage done to our car (hit & run) while parked at Costco. Our insurance company suggested Gerber, when their 1st body shop recommendation informed them that they couldn't repair the damaged parts, and that replacement would be needed. From the beginning we felt like we were given realistic estimates for the various aspects of the repair process. When it was found that additional parts would need to be ordered, we were immediately informed of the potential for a significant delay. Fortunately, the Gerber folks found that they had the parts already in their possession, and were able to expedite our repair process. Communication is key. It started from check-in I was told I could drop it off & it would be there as a tow-in. I arranged for shipment & flew over picked it up from the port and drove to the location to be told that they could not receive it. I was told the process would include a video walk-around once the vehicle was completed. (I received hastily taken photos with zero ability to discern anything instead before the tow truck arrived). I had mentioned at check-in that my roof glass was no longer aligned and was concerned about that. It was inspected but the results were never shared with me. I asked when it was completed & was told that it was found to be in spec & it was listed in the quote which I had not seen. It was attached to a long email chain. It should have been sent separately
