I had noisy front brakes. Most repair shops love doing brake jobs, The job books for at least 2 hours and are not too difficult to do. Darren discovered the source of the noise was a gouge on my son’s 2004 Toyota Camry front brake rotor. The noise was annoying but not a safety issue. He told me I didn’t have to fix it. Tell me, what mechanic would pass up an opportunity to do a brake job? I could drive the car a few more months with the brakes in their present condition. The pads had a bit more material on them. Fast, straightforward, and honest with great pricing. Every other mechanic I’ve been to jacks up their pricing each service to see what they can get away with til your paying $500 for a basic service. I’m always pleasantly surprised when I take my car in and it’s the same price for a basic service. I’m sure the day will come when it will need a few extra things, but at least I know that they are actually needed.

I’m very glad I decided to go to Gilbert’s motor service when I was having battery issues. They were kind, communicated well and when they needed to order an additional part near the end of the day they had it there quickly. Totally fair pricing and great customer service. I would absolutely recommend.
