Gizmo's Auto Repair

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! The place was great when Gizmo actually did the work, but he opened a speed shop around the corner. Now it's run by a few kids and a mechanic who has no business working on cars. He's unethical, overcharges, and confrontational when you catch him charging you for parts that were never put on your car. You bring your car to him, watch how within a week 3 or 4 other issues go wrong and you have to bring it back. Stay away from this place! I wish Gizmo was still running it and doing the actual work. What a shame.

Brought my vehicle here several times for work. Each time there was always some small issue that needed a second visit. This most recent time i went in for 2 new tires and to have my others rotated. Upon picking up my vehicle I noticed all of my rims were damaged in multiple areas, I took videos of this prior to moving the vehicle. They denied doing it even though i had videos and even showing the shavings on the edge of the rims. The finally agreed to pay for the repair of two rims when they damaged all four. I explained to the person who did the work and the owner that the vehicle was pulling to the right. They said it was normal when you don't replace all 4 tires. This got worse and worse so i brought my vehicle into the dealership and they showed me that they put the tires on backwards

This is my go-to shop! I brought my Mercedes in for an A service recently and it was quick & easy. Gizmo is very friendly and always explains pricing with me before he does any work. So, once I pick up my car, there’s no surprises!! I highly recommend this shop. My whole family takes their cars here too.

I’ve been to this shop a couple times now and I’ve always had a good experience. Gizmo, the owner, is very sweet and patient when explaining the problems with my car (BMW). He’ll explain to me what I need done ASAP and what I can wait a week or two with after receiving my next paycheck. I was having miss firing issues for months and no one could figure out the issue. My friend recommended me to come to Gizmo and he fixed the issue within a day, (I was very happy). The pricing was reasonable too! He’s also put new tires on for me, did an oil change, and fixed my breaks. I’ll definitely be back at Gizmo’s Auto Repair — my family and friends have been going to him too now. ** he speaks Spanish

I had the best, most honest experience here! Was having trouble with my air-conditioning for a while and it was brutal in the FL heat. I visited 3-4 auto shops and they quoted me ridiculously high without telling me how simple the repair was. I found out exactly what part needed to be fixed and talked to Gizmo (nicest most genuine guy ever, said he treat people like he would treat his mom when coming in for auto work) he told me EXACTLY what needed to be fixed and we ordered the part on Amazon together which he later installed in my car in less than an hour for a price I could actually afford! So efficient, straightforward and I got the best deal in town. I 100% plan on going back for any issues with car.
