I had a great experience at Gonzales Tire Shop. I called ahead and Rafael answered — he was extremely helpful and straightforward over the phone. They were able to install and balance a used tire for me the same day, and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. The total cost was only $80 for the used Bridgestone tire, installation, and balancing, which I thought was very fair. Very transparent, efficient, and clearly know what they’re doing. I’d highly recommend stopping by if you need tire service!

I am really upset and disappointed about this service. I came to get a tire patch and I specifically told the guy I wanted a tire patch but he did not listen and he did a tire plug.. my tire was brand new and these guys ruined my tire by inserting a tire plug instead of doing what I asked for them to do which was a simple tire patch. I don’t normally do bad reviews but there tire place is not very customer oriented as they lack common decency and respect for their customers.

Pulled without an appointment after I accidentally hit the curb and popped my tire. They took off the spare and swapped it out w/a new tire in about 5 minutes. Very quick and easy service.

This shop is 100% legit! Best prices in Redwood City! Knowledgeable, Full of integrity, trustworthy! I drove 2 hours with my kids last minute for a sports event, & I was in desperate need of a good deal and 2 affordable used tires, my only concern was getting my precious cargo home safe! They helped me out gave me a great deal, even rotated a better tire to the front and added 2 almost brand new tires on my truck 265/70r17! I called and went to several shops, all scammers trying to get me to buy new tires! Ty so much Gonzales shop wish u the best of business and all the success!

Got a random roofing nail in my tire. It was around 5 pm and I was able to bring the wheel and tire down and they were able to patch it within 20 minutes. What I didn't appreciate was that when I asked how much he said $25 as he grabbed the wheel/tire from the back of my truck but when I was leaving and had handed him the money, he claimed it was $35. Felt like a little bit of a bait and switch. I also noticed he didn't balance the tire after taking it off the wheel and patching from inside. Strange.
