Above and beyond! My daughter was in Oxford and noticed that three small kittens had climbed into her engine. One of the Goodyear mechanics saw her with her car hood up, immediately crawled under her car, and tried to help. He directed her to the Goodyear shop where ALL of the mechanics propped her car up and successfully rescued the kittens. Thank you, gentlemen, for going above and beyond!

Wonderful folks here. Had a brake issue while on vacation and pulling a camper. Told them I figured it needed brakes front and back, they evaluated and told me the rears were fine (could have been an easy upsell, they chose honesty!) They also have the fancy tire balancing machine and got rid of a wobble in our steering wheel we've dealt with for a good 6 months. Taking care of out-of-towners with no options and a hard timeline for repairs says a LOT about a business when they do it honestly and awesomely. Hard to find a great mechanic shop nowadays, this is one of them!

These guys are great! Been really looking around for a good group of both affordable and sensible auto/tire guys and this place is awesome. I simply needed some tires mounted on trailer wheels, I called every place in Oxford to get a quote and after being on hold for most of that, or receiving ridiculous estimates I called this place as my final option and they said it’d just be 20 bucks a tire and that they could do it in 10 minutes and there I went. The lady at the front desk was super kind and very nice. The guy working at the counter, I could hear him explaining to customers on the phone, what the issue was and the most sensible fixes for them, and with having a somewhat reasonable amount of mechanical experience myself, I liked what he was saying. We took my car in earlier this week because we are going on a long trip and just wanted to check everything out beforehand. They thoroughly checked out my car and changed my oil. They found a small crack in my rear differential. While small, it could have become a HUGE problem if not discovered! The fact that they saw this means they actually checked out my car really well and the mechanic showed genuine concern for our safety. Even though they could not do the work to fix it, they didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need to pad the sale and recommended a place they trusted to get it fixed! The integrity that this place has is just incredible and rare. This is why we love getting our cars serviced here!

Our car and truck have been to University Tire several times. We have purchased new tires not only for our vehicles but for our daughter who lives in a different state. She needed new tires and we couldn’t think of a better place to give our business to. Tim, Jo, and Ethan have never let us down with the time and attention we have needed. I tell you this, I would much rather deal with University Tire than the local dealerships in our area. Every time we have gone there, I feel we get the run around and prices change every time but not at Goodyear. They truly appreciate your business and it makes you want to come back again.
