I brought my car to this shop hoping to finally fix a persistent issue, and instead I walked away $2,000 lighter with the same problems still happening. Not once, but multiple times I had to bring the car back for “repairs,” each time being told the issue was fixed. Clearly it wasn’t. It feels like they were just guessing and replacing parts instead of actually diagnosing the problem. After paying thousands of dollars back-to-back, my car is still having issues and I’m left dealing with the same headaches I originally came in for. For a place that charges this much, I expected competence and honesty. Instead I got repeated bills and zero real results. If you value your time, money, and sanity, I would seriously think twice before trusting this shop with your vehicle.

They were freaking terrific. They fixed my Buick regal. I’m going to give them my business from now on. These are the first Black people that I’ve dealt with and he seems like a good guy too honest price they will have my business from now on.

These mechanics are great. They were very fast and precise. My flat tire was fixed in under 20 minutes. I will definitely be back if I have any future issues with my vehicle. They have great deals and will work with you. Thanks Guys !

I wish I could give this place no stars. I really wish it would get closed down. I’m a mom of three that makes $18 an hour and I spend the last of my money to get my car repaired so that I can take my kids to school And go to work. So they told me that I had an electrical problem and that they repaired the wires. Now I was thinking that it was weird that they just repaired and did not replace any wires. But after paying a $480, I felt weirded out so I just took my car down the street to another repair shop to see if anything was done to my car. So when I took it down to the other repair shop, they told me nothing under my hood had been touched so nothing under my hood have been touched. I can’t say enough good things about Gratiot Automotive Center! I’ve been a customer since 2018 but the service I received today is why I will remain a loyal customer! From the initial drop off after having a complete blow out on 94 my tire and rim was destroyed. Fast turn around and it was affordable. They even stayed open a few minutes past closing time to accommodate me and make sure I had my vehicle back. I will be referring all my friends and family to Gratiot Automotive‼️ The person who assisted me was Nick but everyone was friendly and professional.
