Greybeard Automotive totaled my vehicle. On August 12, 2025 Greybeard had allowed a 19 year old to test drive my vehicle who then drove it on Park Street around 5:00pm–the busiest street in Livingston at the busiest time of day–after it had been in their possession for two weeks for a minor repair. The 19 year old driver totaled my vehicle after rear-ending a new Subaru, sending the driver of the Subaru to the ER, and totaling that vehicle as well. Our Suburban suffered $11,000 worth of damage, including damage to the frame. Under Montana law, this is a clear breach of their duty as a bailee — when a shop has a legal obligation to exercise reasonable care and return the vehicle in the same condition. Loved taking my vehicle here until recently. Felt like I was just getting the run around, paying for stuff that didn't need to be done, being taken advantage of, and they still weren't fixing the problem. Took to a different mechanic who confirmed the situation. There were no timing issues with the engine as greybeard insisted. It needed the second sensor replaced (as I fought them about several times), and an oil leak. That's it. Love the owner and loved working with them previously. I'm just not sure what happened.

Greybeard has been good to me so far with my vehicles. I had to take my truck in for maintenance, and I needed a new front tire. They recommended replacing both the front tires, as to match the tread wear. My only complaint is that they didn't match the new tires with the tires that were already on the truck.

The absolute best service I have ever received. I have a 2017 F350 that had a fuel Injector problem Not only did they fix the issue they made recommendations to keep the issue from happening in the future I feel this team went way above and beyond and will forever have my business. Look forward to working with Aden and his team for all our future vehicle needs.

Needed some work done on my van and this place was highly recommended.. I travel and during my travels my van lost power in a cylinder..thought it was the motor and come to find out i just needed a new plug and wire .. however had Ayden do a complete tune up .. Service was fast and friendly.. Very nice people and great work and a great price... the local recommendation didnt let me down... If you need service dont hesitate to stop in... got me back on the road and helped my stress level... nothing like traveling and having a vehicle break down ... he saved my vacation and I'm thankful.
