I had high hopes getting my car serviced at Guardian Collision and unfortunately had a bad experience. Walking in the door I was blown away by the super clean shop with a beautiful layout and super friendly staff up front. I felt like I was in the right place. Upon receiving my car there was compound sling on my wheels and tires, paint overspray under the hood and trunk panels, overspray on body panels they didn’t paint, chipped paint on rear bumper from reinstallation, over 40 pieces of trash in the clear coat on top of the trunk (no exaggeration) fender was sanded to bare metal by the headlight and left that way, you can still see orange peel in the area. From start to finish, the staff was professional, clear, and kept me updated throughout the entire repair process. The quality of the work was excellent — my car looks brand new again. What really gave me peace of mind is that they’re a Volkswagen Certified Collision Center, so I knew my car was being repaired to proper factory standards. They finished on time, the price was fair, and the level of care they put into their work really shows. Our organization was referred to Guardian Collision by Lucid for what we expected to be a professional and efficient repair experience. Unfortunately, both encounters we’ve had with this facility have been marked by poor communication, avoidable delays, and a lack of accountability. Our initial engagement involved a windshield replacement for a Lucid Air. After submitting payment in full, communication ceased unless we proactively reached out for updates. The representative who initially handled our order stopped responding entirely, and we later discovered the glass had not been ordered until a week or two after payment was received — extending an already lengthy timeline. That alone was such a huge relief in a stressful situation. She made sure to give frequent updates to keep me informed. The quality of the work makes it seem like nothing ever happened.
