This company offered to help with MINOR hail damage that I hadn't gotten fixed. I asked them multiple times, in multiple ways will this affect my insurance. I haven't had a claim in 10 years! They assured me acts of nature do not affect you and your policy can't go up per Texas law. I even asked about if it would affect me applying with different insurance and they again assured me it wouldn't be a problem. I found out today while applying with a new insurance company, they consider THAT claim, regardless of if it is an "act of nature" and when I tried to finalize the price, it jumped up $100/ month. You can't trust what someone says.... my policy worth Progressive didn't increase, but I'm stuck with them for at least the next 3 years (likely 5) even if I find better prices els
Got on it right away. Did a great job. I'm happy.
