I was really in a bind needing repairs and snow tire change over at the same time but have so many doctor appointments that it was a challenge. I just couldn’t work with my dealership because they don’t answer their phones. I mistakenly went to Chaz and was turned down due to collision damage work only there although I told the receptionist what repairs that I needed. I stopped by Hale’s Technical to ask if they could get me in. They have done excellent work for me in the past. Desiree, told me to bring it in on Monday and they would do everything in a day. They replaced my water pump, a belt, belt pulley and changed over the tires. Their awesome intern, Moira gave me a ride when I had none and was so sweet and friendly. If I could 0 stars I would. First of all HORRIBLE communication… no one answers the phone and when someone does they will say hey can I give you a call back and over an hour will go by before you hear anything or you just won’t hear back at all .. they also kept my car hostage in their lot for over a week without calling me to tell me what was going on with the car .. apparently Desiree “ hurt “ herself and that’s why I didn’t hear back .. it took my coworker to basically harass them before I heard anything back .. also they were gonna charge me almost 2000 dollars just to not respond to me .. and I will not be giving them my business and I recommend you don’t either.

I recently went out of warranty at my dealership and was unsure who to use. A friend highly recommended Hale's and I am so grateful! We had the absolute BEST experience. The job was done right, and the price was great. LOVE that it's a "mom and pop" shop. The icing on the cake was the customer service was top notch!

Brought my 98’ Toyota Camry in for headlights, interior lights and an exhaust leak, was quoted for 3 hours of diagnostics for each problem, and even though their website says $98 an hour, I was told upon paying for my invoice that the actual rate is $145 an hour and when I asked about the difference I was told “Our website hasn’t been updated in 25 years.” Very unprofessional to respond that way. They also kept my vehicle for repairs much longer than they quoted, I was told to expect it to be in all day but it wasn’t until a week later with bad communication that I was able to get the vehicle, couldn’t get in touch with them and when called back I was told they would call me back the next day to touch base and tell me how much and how long it will take and I never received that call, only

Hale’s saved me thousands of dollars in fixes and the cost a rental car. A different, clearly predatory shop (they barely tried to hide it) was trying to convince me I needed to replace my head gasket. Hale’s was able to tentatively diagnose it—over the phone—as a sound coming from the timing chain tensioner. I brought it into their shop and turns out they were correct. My car is now working perfectly well—better than it has in at least 2 years—and the issues are gone. Very knowledgeable, very friendly folks, who aren’t in the business of price-gouging. They saved me at least 94% of the costs that I would have paid if I had stuck with the other shop—$230 vs ~$4000, all things considered. Will be going here in the future and recommending to everyone else.
