Hammond Auto Repair

I’ve been a regular costumer for some time now, and have always had good services until now… however, this last experience, I brought my car in for a check engine light, ( ford infusion ‘16)I paid $400+ for that problem to be fixed, Within 15 hours of leaving the shop, the check engine light was back on. I called on that same day to tell them that it came back within the same day ( no one responded, maybe they was on thanksgiving break, okay, cool !!!! When I went back to the shop today 12/1/25 ( they was closed last week for thanksgiving, I got my car “fixed” before thanksgiving) I was then told that it’s a new engine problem? requiring me to make a new payment. Saying this new engine problem is a “ big deal” than the previous one. They literally played in my face , they scammed me !!! I

I so happy I was told about this shop from my friend . Pete and his worker is amazing I called to bring it in to get looked at last Friday when got there his worker put it right on the lift so they can see the problem. He said he can fix it came back this morning dropped it off at 8 am and was done by 3pm same day. Picked it up and my car drives so much better they did amazing job. He honest and upfront too. I got quoted something else so a friend told me to go see him to get another opinion and he saved me a lot of money. Thank you guys will definitely comes back if anything else goes wrong.

They are the absolute best!!!! The only mechanic I brought my Impala to. Always went above and beyond.....I never let any other mechanic touch my car. I recommend 100%. If you need any type of work done on your vehicle, don't hesitate to take your vehicle to Hammond.

I will never take my car anywhere else! Pete should be a Buffalo legend! He is fair and honest and he has never done me wrong. That’s hard to find as a woman driver. I’ve had a LOT of mechanics think I’m gullible because I’m a woman. Hammond will NEVER do you dirty like that. Pete is my favorite and I’ll do anything to support him and his business.

I went there for my 2018 Dodge Charger to get a lift kit put on 3 inches and he did a great job.
