Harbor Freight

I took my other 5* off. I've been going to the store since it opened. Always nice without any issues. Tonight I went to take back 2 tow ropes that broke on me over the last week pulling people out with my truck. Went back to get the replacement ropes and picked up up a few other items. Got up front and she pulled up my ropes said it'd been over 30 days and it probably wouldn't let her switch them out. So I took the tow ropes and put them back as well as the other $50 worth the other stuff I was going to buy. Tow ropes aren't something you use everyday. I keep these 2 in my truck and try to help when needed. Which was a lot the last 2 weeks. I know it's $20 worth the ropes but I go here because I don't like dealing with Lowe's. Every store gives you different answers to the same question.

There's plenty of opportunity to grab more stuff for less bucks. As a few other customers shared, "if I am gonna use something one-time I just buy it from Harbor Freight." So many cheap tools, there's just not enough space in the store. In a tribute to Robin Williams, who died in 2014, the store has refused to update any of the aesthetics. Upkeep? - only the signs and shelves to feed the machine. The rest of the space from floor to ceiling continues to devolve into a Jumanji like obstacle course. It's a Google review, not a safety complaint - Yet, National Electrical Code Section 110.26(A) is a good rule of thumb. Why put the safety of the workers and customers at risk with poor spacial awareness? There might be a fun story behind the rake handles, shovels, clipboards and signs covering

DO NOT BUY GENERATORS FROM HARBOR FREIGHT!!! I purchased a generator during the hurricane in October 2024. It lasted one day. I went to take it back and they charge like a 30 percent restocking fee even on things that are defective so I ended up getting another one. I didn't take it out of the box, assuming it would work as it's brand new .... Well I just unboxed it and started it up before the ice storm last week and the overload light is on and it won't produce any power. I called customer service and they basically said you're out of luck. They transferred me to the warranty company and they never pick up their phone or return calls. I will never buy anything from this company again and neither should you.

Coming to Harbor Freight and always finding what I need is the best feeling. Today I grabbed this rechargable screw driver which I tried from a coworker and it does the thing. Ergonomic. It has a built in flashlight in the bottom of the handle,( in case you need a flash light, there you have a dual tool). Also took the flush cutters which are lifetime guaranteed replacement for the Doyle brand.

I am house bound and depend on delivery service. On Dec. 15,2025 I ordered 3 LED mini flashligts (2 pack), 4 AAA thunderbolt batteries, 4 AA thunderbolt batteries. They were shipped in a box to large and no packing. two of the triple A battery packs split open and spilled out. They look ok. Better packing methods would be nice. Before I had a disabling stroke, I loved walking in and buying tools.
