Hawthorne At Leesburg

I live here , the people are friendly .it's a beautiful place to live. They have a very nice heated pool. A hot tub , it's in a remodel time now but that always nice. Pickle ball , tennis, gardening, a marina, places to fish. Tons of clubs. And drum boats. I can't say enough about my home.

This is a wonderful manufactured home community with a mix of newer and older homes (some of which have been completely remodeled). The amenity fee is approaching $400 but includes more than other communities. The biggest downside is the anti-pet culture. Although ESAs and service animals are allowed, some of the residents are downright nasty to those who have pets for this reason.

We bought in Hawthorne after reviewing a number of other communities. This is a resident owned community. The number and quality of amenities are impressive. Gate is staffed 24/7. Full time EMT staff, fire dept. Emergency call buttons in every home and all common areas. Private deep well water supply. 100 slip marina with river access to chain of large lakes. Wide winding streets, large lots with lots of open common areas, mostly wooded. Pool, hot tub(s), and fitness room the nicest we have seen. Too many amenities to mention. Yes, this an older community of manufactured homes and might not appeal to the Country Club set, but it is very well maintained, financially strong, and affordable. A pleasant place to live and roam. You will find amenities and features here you have not
