Hayward Car Wash

I’ve been coming here for over 25 years and have consistently received great service at very reasonable prices. On the rare occasion that an issue has come up, Jesse — who has been the manager here for as long as I can remember — has always handled it professionally and made sure it was resolved to my satisfaction. I also highly recommend their 4-for-3 car wash packages. Great value!

I got an $80 car wash at this location. After I drove off, I noticed my window glass. It is so blurry full of the cleaning chemicals they used which they did not wipe off. My doors where steam but not wiped, the steam make my doors look spotted as dirty for an $80 car wash I was expecting more.

This is my usual spot. Took my truck in this time. It was filthy. Price was what I expected. Basic plus get the dash, cup holders steam cleaned and mats washed. Overall I am happy with the service. The bulk of the grime is gone. Could tidy up on the little details- window smuges, dash is textured black and has a brown tint to it after the steam clean, I'll hit it with a wet cloth once I get home just make sure its not discoloration, and few missed dust spots in the corners. Its a taller truck so just below the windshield on the hood is still a little dirty. All stuff I didn't notice until I drove away and the sun hit it. Staff is great, nice people doing a tough job. Big thank you for that.

Definitely on an expensive price side compared to even mobile car wash I’ve had. If you need something quick, just go with their basic, rest is all fluff. I was hoping to build long term relationships and become recurring customer, although staff is not great at recommending right packages. Instead, they focused on “oh, we have to pay taxes and pay bills.” For example, they mentioned conflicting times, one said it will take 20mins, another said 45 mins. Another one on vacuum cleaning only for the top package of $120, whereas vacuum is clearly stated as free in one of their sign boards! Too many red flags for something that could be simpler.

I used to bring my exotic cars here regularly and was always charged a consistent price. Lately, they’ve started raising the price on me for no reason, even though they can easily look up my entire history by my license plate. I asked the guy at the register to double-check with the owner (who is almost always on site), and he didn’t even bother to have a respectful conversation. He just waved from a distance refusing to honor the regular price I’ve always paid. Completely unprofessional. I won’t be coming back—there are plenty of other options that value loyal customers.
