I brought my 1970 Chevy Nova down to Heavy’s to check a loud tick under the valve cover. Thinking a little adjustment was all that was needed, Jay found that the problem as actually much bigger. Brass flakes were found when the valve cover was removed, and after a little more digging, steel shaving were found. He then removed the motor and found that the crank was trashed. I was able to pick up my Nova on a trailer and the guys loaded the motor into my truck to be brought over to where I had it rebuilt. A few weeks later when the motor was back, I brought both the car and motor back to Heavy’s. The guys over at Heavy’s auto are legit do it all auto repair shop. Nobody touches my my mustang unless it’s Dan and Crew. Every employee there is highly trained and knowledgeable. Super honest and reliable. They respond to emails within a day or sooner if you have a question about a service or anything auto related. They go the extra mile to make sure when you pick up your ride it’s exactly how you want it. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for Alignment as they use top of the line equipment and dial in Caster/Camber/Toe just right. Every time I leave there I’m always amazed how much better my Mustang runs.
