Herb Chambers Cadillac of Lynnfield Service Center

I brought my car in for warranty work on 12/18/25 and got it back 2/16/26. During this time I received 5 calls from the service writer unsolicited and every time I called I got the run around. So they had my vehicle for 2 months and did 16 to 20 hrs worth of work. I was also told I needed rear tires because the wire was showing on one of the tires. I just had the brakes done a week before and asked my mechanic if he noticed anything about the 2 1/2 year old tires on the vehicle and he said he had inspected them when he did the brakes and there wasn't an issue. I was told if I didn't replace the tires they could not drive the vehicle to finish the inspection. As far as the work done the vehicle is perfect. 1. Very difficult to get through to a service Rep line always busy 2 it should not take longer than an hour for an oil change. My last dealership guarantees 45 minutes. My first oil change 3 hours Second oil change 2 hours 3 waiting area horrible. Snacks and beverages awful. Mot comfortable watching FOX news. My recent experience with Herb Chambers Cadillac of Lynnfield service was nothing short of unacceptable. To start, they simply do not answer their phone. Repeated calls go unanswered, and when you finally reach someone, it feels like you’ve won the lottery. The service department appears chronically understaffed — every visit, there has been no more than one individual working the counter, creating long lines and unnecessary delays. When I called to schedule service for a legitimate Cadillac issue, I made it very clear that I would require a loaner vehicle, as the repair would likely involve diagnostics and an extended stay. By far the worst experience ever, to have a service manager sit there and talk about you while you’re waiting in the waiting area and you can hear every single word that he’s saying is just plain old disrespectful, to be mad at a customer because you can’t follow through on what you say so I have to keep chasing him down is my fault? Come on Cadillac I’ve been buying Cadillac’s for 30 years now and never felt so disrespected in my life, meanwhile I had a defective gas door cover so i couldn’t open it once closed would that not prompt you that my situation is priority!! Accommodating and great customer service. I see myself getting next years model thru them for sure. In the past I've been to dealerships where I know it'll be my first and last time doing business with them. Not this one . Plus my daughter likes it here
