I found Hernandez Automotive on Google Maps. All of the 5-star reviews set my expectations high. I was not disappointed. My new clutch is a premium brand (LuK) - an unexpected perk. It feels and works great. The price was competitive. The turn-around-time was incredible. I am a DIY car mechanic. But replacing a clutch (7 to 9 hours of skilled labor) just isn't for me. After shopping around, I chose Hernandez because from the first phone call to the last, I spoke directly with Elias (owner and chief mechanic). He was patient, discussed options, gave me a schedule and a price that worked -- all of which built my trust and respect. Highly Reliable and Honest Mechanic! I came to Hernandez needing an installation for my 2019 Toyota Camry. Initially, I got a quote from Toyota Sunnyvale, and they wanted over $600 just to install a new driver-side mirror! That’s when Hernandez stepped in. I called Hernandez Automotive on a whim, just looking to get some information about an engine rebuild or replacement. From the moment I spoke with Elias, I could tell he was incredibly welcoming, honest, and straightforward. He gave me a strong sense of trust — even before I read any of the many great reviews about him and his shop. Hernandez auto fixed the intake manifold and water pump on my 2003 Astro van. It's not an easy job and even before I dropped off the van, he was familiar with what was involved. He did a perfect job and the job was finished in less than two days after dropping off. Very happy that I've found a good mechanic for my cars. Thanks!

I am extremely glad I found Don Elias! I have been going to him for a few years now and I’m so proud he finally open up his own shop! He’s a honest, hardworking man who’s always busy with work but makes the time for my questions and sometimes unnecessary concerns.
