Hertz Car and Truck Rental

I originally rented a car for one day because mine was in for a diagnosis. Found out my car had to stay for major repairs. Got hold of rental guy and he had me bring the rental back to start a new contract. He made it very easy and explained everything.

Made a reservation for Monday Jan. 26 for 10 am but said I could be a little late, Cody, the only person who works in car rentals apparently, said his lunch is from 11-12. I arrive at 12:10. Cody isn’t there. I’m told he’s 5 minutes away. 12:20 rolls around Cody still isn’t there. The other employee calls Cody, he says he’s walking through the door, takes another 5-10 minutes for Cody to finally arrive & it’s at this point 12:30. This was probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a car rental. I’ve never had to wait that long in my life. There were no apologies and it also didn’t seem like Cody was even expecting anyone even though I had a reservation.

Helpful people. They rented a nice Nissan Altima to me. I would use them again.

The lady from five star that "works" the hertz rental car desk doesn't know what she's doing. I received a call stating I had a bigger vehicle and could exchange it any time, so I show up at 8am and the guy who is actually from hertz isn't there and will be late. So I tried offering a solution just to return the rental I had and to sign out another one and that broke her brain. She said she doesn't know how to do any of that, funny thing is I saw her giving another person of rental car Monday so she does know how to issue a rental car. This whole rental process with them has been an absolute joke. I turned in an eight passenger vehicle to be worked on and they didn't have one ready for me when five star claimed they flagged my account twice. So I got stuck with a five passenger car I have

Today is the second time in 3 months I have booked a car via Hertz app, prepaid, and then shown up to pick up the vehicle only for the person at the counter to tell me they don’t have any any available vehicles. This should be criminal I have now missed my flight due to their negligence. DONT EVER RENT FROM HERR THEY WILL CHARGE YOUR CARD AND NOT HAVE ANY CARS
