The lady at the front desk was super nice and incredibly friendly; she made the whole process quick and easy. Pickup was smooth: all I had to do was confirm my ID, credit card, and sign a few papers. There was a $343 hold placed on my card, which they explained is standard for this location since it’s not a corporate Hertz and they can set their own hold threshold. Totally understandable once you know that. Honestly, I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews. My experience was great from start to finish: fast, professional, and pleasant service. I’d definitely rent from this location again.
This is the most raciest place I have ever been at. The canceled my reservation and stated a policy reason that they could not show me in writing. If you are any race besides Caucasian be aware they will not help you and cancel your reservation just because they can
One of the best car rental experiences ever. Shannon hit it out of the park! Very courteous and considerate. With below zero temps outside, she had my car running to warm up for me. Such a pleasant surprise compared to the absolute lack of customer service most everywhere else today.
DEPOSIT IS OVER $700 AT TIME OF PICK UP!! Customer service was horrible. I got 2 different stories about the security deposit and method of payments. If you use a debit card they said they have to run a credit check!! Why would you have to do that if the funds are coming out directly?? Quincy who helped us during check in said the security deposit/hold was only $200 but it was over $700!! The funds still have not processed or reversed back to my card. When I called the same day as check in about an hour after leaving with the vehicle, I got a different customer service rep and she said the security deposit is different for all customers and they don't know what it is or why it's like that. I'm sorry but every company has a policy and you should know what it is! WILL NEVER RENT THROUGH THEM
I've rented here a couple times in the last month and they are always fast, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended Hertz at BIS
