Hertz Car Rental - Cherry Hill - Marlton Pike

I was honestly a bit nervous renting from this company because of the negative reviews, but my experience was very pleasant and smooth. I think the key difference is that I followed the process and pre-ordered my rental in advance. When I arrived, my car was ready, the paperwork was straightforward, and the staff was professional and helpful. I had no issues with inventory, timing, or the vehicle itself. From what I’ve seen in other reviews, many of the problems seem to come from walk-in customers expecting a car immediately. This company appears to work best when you reserve ahead, and that was definitely my experience. If you plan ahead and follow their process, I’d recommend them without hesitation. This is just an appreciation post for the WONDERFUL customer service I received at the Hertz in Cherry Hill, NJ from TIM. TIM is the MVP at your Cherry Hill location (6 Marlton Pike) When I needed a vehicle at the last minute on February 21st, 2026, the first rude agent (he looks like a Ninja Turtle, you’ll know him when you see him at the counter) I spoke to dismissed me and told me I should have booked my rental earlier. He wasn’t aware of my situation or why I had to book late but he dismissed me. But TIM did not dismiss me, TIM chased me down and asked me to wait 10 mins and he would see if anything was available. TIM found me a vehicle and had me out of there in 25-30 mins. The other employee could have done the same but chose to be judgmental & unhelpful. So, I want to send all high

"Manager in training" had zero customer service skills. We made a reservation for a gas cargo van over a week in advance. There was no gas vans available so they gave us an electric van only 58% charged. While he continued to explain that they don't even carry gas vans at this location. So it shouldn't even be an option. There was no discount, no troubleshooting, no apologies. We will never rent with Hertz again.

My experience with the staff here was exceptional! I got a very good price on a Jeep Compass, which was reliable and safe. Cindy at the counter was friendly and so helpful in finding me a great car. Returning this morning was also handled smoothly and efficiently with Tim. Highly recommend this location.

Shaquille was a great help in getting me into a vehicle when Expedia booked me for a vehicle they didn’t have. I paid a little extra but he got me in a nice Tahoe for the Holiday and an extra day. He also extended his help and got me a ride home after returning the vehicle when I was booking a uber. I recommend Shaquille to anyone booking a vehicle here. Great customer service on his part as well as the older Italian Gentleman. Good men!
