Hertz Car Rental - Daytona Beach - Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB)

I am leaving a five star review for Ms. Lisa!! It was complete and total chaos for the staff, because the cars that reserved by Gold Members were not available, because of late returns or continued rentals from previous customers. Ms. Lisa was so kind, patient, & very accommodating in a stress situation. She handled everything very well with a smile on her face, doing some super fast and accurate multi-tasking to keep the customers happy. It is crazy to me that you go online and make a reservation & PAY as a GOLD MEMBER and then when you arrive you could be stuck waiting HOURS if you want to wait for the rental that you have already paid for and reserved! It is not the employees at the front counter's fault that people don't return the cars on time or that the company allows people to

CHECK RECEIPT BEFORE LEAVING Check-in process was smooth and agent was helpful hence the second star. On retuning the vehicle they do not have any employees to check the car in with at the lot. You bring the keys and report the fuel and mileage to the counter agent when dropping off the keys. I did this and proceeded through TSA. When getting ready to board my flight I checked my receipt and there was a charge for 2 gallons of fuel despite being returned full. I thought this odd since they had no one receiving the vehicle and there would be no way to quantify the amount. Very frustrating process to get that fixed I wish I noticed their FRAUD before leaving.

Great customer service. The Kia Niro was a fun vehicle to drive too. Spacious and comfortable! I blocked the license plate in the photo.

Hertz signs easy to see. A nice young man was at the counter very helpful and friendly. I liked the Jeep I rented it was fun to drive, good price and good value. I will definitely be a Hertz customer!

Mauricio is a true professional at this location. I can’t emphasize his value. Great guy. But check your vehicle very well before you leave. Both the cleanliness and interior integrity. Seats were not attached and couldn’t be in the first and Found weed and chewing tobacco in the “upgrade”.
