Hertz Car Rental - Fargo - Main Avenue Hle

This location was not helpful. The staff, both Brad and another woman were snide and rude on the phone with off handed comments and sarcastic statements. I had been in an accident the day before and have no vehicle their responses were not helpful or caring. The first rep a woman told me that my claim was through insurance and they just get to them when they can which actually wasn’t true at all. It was a fleet reservation. The second rep, Brad was not helpful and was snide in many of his closing remarks. Neither of the reps were helpful or accommodating in any way. I am a hertz presidents club member and have used them exclusively. I’m so disgusted with this company/ branch i will be taking my business elsewhere. Interestingly enough I was able to make a reservation online

Should've read the reviews before going to this location! Reserved a 30 day rental in June, received a receipt saying I returned the car after 23 days. I called, confirmed the rental car number and opened the rental up again. However, when I returned the car on the originally scheduled date, they charged a daily fee for the last 7 days! And the building was locked at 9:00 AM when I was trying to return the car! Today, I went to pick up another 30 day rental. They have 1 person working there which allows them to be as rude and arrogant as humanly possible since there's nobody else to see them. The 1 guy at the counter told me that North Dakota lawmakers in the past month passed a law making 28 days the longest rental agreement in North Dakota. I told him I would've appreciated being notifie

Horrible experience with agent at the counter. Snide, cocky, wouldn't listen, refused to take my credit card that was ALREADY charged for the rental. Insisted that my Venmo visa credit card wasn't a "real" credit card and neither was my Apple credit card, smh!!! Completely wasted our time and there was zero sense of urgency. I legitimately thought that we were being punked with how ignorant they were. The kicker, she refused to give me her name claiming that she didn't have to. WOW! I'm not comfortable with untrained and spiteful agents handling my personal information (drivers license and credit card). So now, due to ignorance, I was charged almost a $900 hold for a $54 total car rental.

Terrible customer service. Had a reservation set up and when we got there, they said they couldn't find it even though I had a reservation number and said they had no cars anyways. Called enterprise down the road, they got us set up with a reservation and a car right away. Don't go to Hertz, go to enterprise. I will never use hertz again.

There was nobody at the location during business hours. We had to wait over 30 minutes for someone to show up, and it was 26 degrees outside. Getting a hold of someone there was very difficult, and they put an extremely high hold on your credit card!
