Hertz Car Rental - Frederick - Buckeystown Pike

I would leave 0 stars if that were a possibility. This location needs better staff and better management. I was told that they would have a specific vehicle (they did not), was forced to get another vehicle because i needed a vehicle while mine was being worked on. I was also told that the vehicle that I requested would be available for pickup the next day (it was not). When I returned the vehicle that I did not want, I was emailed saying that there was damage on the vehicle, which I know for a fact was not caused by me. I’ve been to Hertz locations in the past and have had great experiences, but this specific location has been a disappointment, to say the least. Save yourself the disappointment and go to a different location.

I should give only 1 star but giving 3(better than 1 star) only because of the employee named "Dezary", not sure if that's the correct spelling. I got polestar EV 10days ago and then reported infotainment and slow charging issue very next day and asked to swap the car with a Tesla. A call everyday still no one addressed. Finally this lady picked my call today, promised to get a Tesla from different location in 20mins and she actually called me back in 20mins. This company and every other employee failed at taking responsibility of customer problem and satisfaction except the lady Dezary. Every other employee should learn from this lady.

Every time I have tried to rent here, there is one person working and the wait times are ridiculous, severely understaffed! The staff one staff member works his tail off but I will no longer rent here. Hertz needs to get more staff !

They will not have the car you booked regardless of what website says. The staff aren't very friendly and don't care if your needs are met or not. Hours are terrible as well. Go down the road to any other rental.

Im a presidents circle member, been using hurts for 7 years non- stop for work. I can honestly say this is the worst possible company to rent from, and I highly recommend any other service. If you need to use corporate for anything it’s a disaster, they are based in another country and are a degree of separation away from offering any kind of sufficient service. I have thousands of points through those seven years, and they make them completely useless to use. 7k points is one day in the cheapest car after checkout. Go to any of the other rental services in the area. There are many options.
