Hertz Car Rental - Hagerstown - Colonial Drive Hle

The manager was a very nice gentleman but my overall experience was the worst. They don't explain what all that you need to rent a car or any other options to obtain the rental. In the end I didn't get it. I would suggest to find out everything in the beginning before making a decision. Tm

This place is the worst. The employee working was rude, not helpful, not informative. We had a reservation set, arrive, only to find they wouldn’t accept payment and deposit on a debit card for a reservation made the same day. Nowhere was this stated on any of the reservation booking. When we attempted to ask questions about the policy and stated we do not utilize credit cards, the employee was short with us and kept referring us to a policy on display at the counter. Furthermore, my wife had just used their services two weeks prior, and had no issues, other than not receiving the type of car she reserved. An in store sign doesn’t help a customer who arranged travel to pickup a rental vehicle that he booked online. After the deplorable attitude and tone of the female employee working

Aug 20 called Charmaine Hagerstown, Vehicle was slipping upon acceleration. Tried to get the vehicle swapped out... In the nutshell... Agt was not helpful at all... let's just say she was braindead. Very sad. wound up calling 2 other locations before I got the proper guidance.

I rented from this Hertz location last week and had a great experience! The staff were helpful & kind, even though their systems were down when I checked in. My car didn’t have a full tank of gas but they marked that on my receipt, so there were no issues.
