Hertz Car Rental - Hays - East 8th Street Hle

We were on a road trip from Kansas City to Laramie, WY on a Friday when our car started overheating as we neared Hays. Turned out we needed a new water pump that had to be ordered, arrival Monday, but no car rental agencies were open on the weekend. Jamie came to meet us at 3:30 on Saturday and we were able to go ahead with our plans. We are very grateful.

James is super helpful! was referred to Hertz since I had a claim for auto body repair at a shop in Hays. I was told they could come pick me up. They helped walk me thru the claims process and rental car service, in which I followed theor advice and I went from having no reservation as I was on my way to drop off my truck at the body shop... I was able to get a reservation with State Farm insurance and it all happened as fast as they said it would! There was a "Taxi" to come pick me up and they waited while I signed papers. There is a $50 deposit due when you rent a car even with insurance claim thru State Farm.. I actually didn't have that and they were able to verify my bank card was active anyway and I will call them Friday to have them run it for the full $50. Thanks a lot Hertz

I have never ever had an issue booking with Hertz. They always have the cars ready, clean, and maintained. Absolutely love and appreciate the Hays 8th st Hertz!!! Everyone is so helpful and kind, especially Jana at the front desk!!

I was having a seriously awful day. My car broke down, towing fees, and mechanic issues. I was suppose to leave for KC the day before. Had a car reserved at enterprise and had an awful experience with them. Long story short did not rent from enterprise. I cried and thought I wouldn't be making it to see my family. Called up to our local Hertz as a shot in the dark. I didn't think they'd accommodate me last minute. I was told me to come by... I was done in less than 10 minutes and out the door with a car. I didn't want to use a credit card and was able to use my debit with a deposit. Not only was he fast and efficient but he was extremely nice! I will never use another car rental service other than my local Hertz (unless we are out of town of course). Would highly recommend!
