Hertz Car Rental - Hertz Lighthouse Point

Charged me over double the daily rate from my original reservation without notifying me of the change. Their justification is the clause on the pickup ticket that says, the charges are an estimate. If the rate goes from $39.99 to $98 for any purchase, any fair and decent company would inform the customer beforehand. The return agent not showing any customer service skills made this the last time I rent with this company. To be fair, The vehicle was a great experience as well as the pickup service with Patrick. The blatant deceptive sales tactic ruined what started and should’ve ended as an easy 10/10 experience.

Never rent from them. Very bad experience with them. I have been continuously renting from Hertz last two years, I am president circle member. They charge me cleaning fee. I never return cars dirty. I know what is considered “dirty”

Booked a mid-size truck. They gave a 9 cylinder which is a gas guzzler. They then gave a SUV and upcharged $5 per day. The SUV has chocolate, chips, scratches, etc. the pickup was at 8:30am and it’s still not ready. Unprofessional and NOBODY answers the phone. My kids father is on limited time. He still has to drive several hours to visit his kids for Thanksgiving. He should be on the road right now but instead he’s at the location on Lighthouse point waiting for this filthy vehicle to be cleaned while having to pay extra! What a joke! Read the reviews before renting from here. Go down the road to Enterprise or Budget.

Patrick at Hertz in lighthouse point went out of his way to help me get the car rental I would enjoy. Patrick is always very friendly greeting me with a smile. The pickup was fast and returning the car was easy thanks to Patrick. I get a great price every time at this Hertz location.
