Hertz Car Rental - Jackson - West Michigan Avenue

This location went above and beyond for us today! Due to an error in communication the call center told us we could pick up at 1 pm but come to find out this location closes at noon! While driving there the location called us to confirm we were coming and we said we’d be there by 1 and they said oh well we close at noon. Rather than leave us high and dry like Enterprise the person stayed over until 1245 just so we could get the van! Well done Hertz employee, well done!!

Worst experience n my life !!!!!Discriminated and all by the manager .I wish I can do zero star , trace of smoke funky smell .I came first I serve last due to my skin color and accent . You may wonder why I took the car I had an urgent business engagement to attend to.

Do not rent a car from here on a weekend. Looked online, and rented through Expedia, both of which sites say they are open on Saturday from 9:00 to 12:00. They are not! We waited there from our reservation time around 9:30, and they weren't there, until about 11:00, all while on the phone with Hertz customer service. They tried to convince us that they were open while we were in the parking lot! We had to tell them multiple different times that they were not open and even had to get proof that they were not. Then we had to go out of our way again and call customer service for Hertz to cancel the reservation. Both customer service and this whole process were very frustrating. Do not rent from here!

This happened approximately a year ago but I haven’t forgotten and I’m still pissed off about it. I rented a car from here and that went fine. I had forgotten a $90 box of flooring in the trunk after I returned it. I called to see if they happened to have it and she told me they did have it and I could come pick it up. A few hours later, I go to pick it up and “it’s not here”. She told me one of the workers had taken the flooring.. for what reason.. idk. So I call multiple times after.. nothing happens. She told me to come in multiple times which I did, mind you I live 20 minutes from there. I went in like twice. Wasted my time and gas because nothing happened. Just said the same thing she’s been saying. I made a stolen item report, multiple times, and contacted that part of the company mu

This place is a joke, they say they have a car they don't have it. I order a car to call back to cancel it, the phone rings for minutes on in nobody answers, I ask why, the lady said because they're washing cars, so I call back later they answer the phone put me on hold and she never comes back to pick up my call. I would not recommend this this place to anybody. I would never use them, I would walk first.
