Hertz Car Rental - Lafayette - W Pinhook Road

Everytime I've rented from Hertz, the customer service is superb. The car rental agents are proficient. The vehicles are clean and up to date. Thanks!

Don't book online! I booked online with the cars they had "available" including a Tesla. But I had a thought to call before picking up to make sure it was in stock due to me seeing previous reviews of their cars not being in stock and I never thought it would happen to me. The guy that I spoke to said that car are advertised for all locations and not a specific one which doesn't make any sense since I filtered out the specific car I wanted and it brought up this location. I called another location and apparently they don't have ANY electric cars in the Acadia area for Hertz. I think their online system needs to be updated since this is false advertisement.

Horrible! We booked twice way in adavance (weeks!) . First rental was for a 10 seater van and all they had was a big V8 SUV (5 seater). Second time: we booked a 10 seater Ford van... that was not at all available! Bunch of amateurs. Avoid at all cost!

Reserved a cargo van a day in advance for a trip. Received multiple confirmation emails and texts, including one a single hour before pick up. Just to show up and be told they have NO vehicles for rental. And that the system will let you book regardless of if they have the stock or not. Do not recommend whatsoever unless you’re cool with your vehicle not actually being there and having to last minute find alternative options. Customer service was no help whatsoever.

Let’s see, where do I begin? I reserved a 12 passenger van three months ago to be prepared for a beach trip ahead of time. 4 days before our trip I received a call from Brennan stating that the passenger vans had a recall and that he was calling to offer different options. The only option he could offer was smaller vehicles; that wouldn’t carry the passengers I have. Mind you this recall had been out for a month already. So I had asked for two vehicles instead, and was told no, because the amount I paid online was too low of an amount to get us two vehicles. I’m sorry that booking online is cheaper and this is an inconvenience on you guys?? I asked for a manager, and I’m given an email. YES, an email so of course, you know how this is going to go.
