Hertz Car Rental - Mobile - Mobile Regional Airport (MOB)

Terrible experience. I turned in a perfectly fine car. NO issues. No accident. NO damage. I was emailed from these people saying that the "windshield was damaged and it would cost $770" I am in the process of dealing with it right now. Hopefully my insurance will cover it but I doubt it. I repeat I noticed ZERO damage to the car. I saw NO windshield damage and was NOT in an accident or anything like this. Maybe there was a small chip that I did not notice? Perhaps but nothing close to $770. I asked that they please send me pictures of the damage. They refused said they are not required to do so and also that they did not take any pictures. Sounds like a scam to me. This was with Thrifty (owned by Hertz) and Hertz is the company sending me the emails. NEVER rent from any company owned by He

The check engine alarm went off the whole 8 hour drive. Car was not cleaned out when we received it. Debit card was left in vehicle from previous renter. Two hours after we tuned the car in we realized we left a piece of paperwork in the glove compartment. They would not answer or return calls.

I forget her name, but she was amazing. Answered all my questions and helped me figure out pricing. Probably the best customer service I received while renting a car at any brand. Whoever was there November 8th thank you very much for your help💜

The girl working at the counter was so nice and helpful. I interacted with her multiple times and she was always very patient. They should probably give her a raise

Hertz used to be the best. Now they’re the worst. Terrible customer service. The car I received smelled like smoke the second was dirty w bird poop all over it and sand in the front seat. MOB specifically was the worst rental experience in over 40 years of renting cars. Unfortunately I will have to go back to deal w them all over again to find out why they charged me another $80.
