Hertz Car Rental - New York City - Laguardia Airport (LGA)

We had an excellent experience with Ms. Victoria in the counter of Hertz at La Guardia Airport. She was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and she was very professional and knowledgeable explaining all the services that could be added to our rental. All this, despite of being late at night on Friday and being her last customers of the day after a busy day and probably a busy week. She definetely went the extra mile to make sure that our rental process was seemless and that we felt welcome to NYC. The car we rented was impeccable and very comfortable for our weekend in New York. I would definetely recommend this rental car location and personally will rent from them again. Victoria's great customer service made all the difference.

Dear Hertz Customer Service Team, Feedback regarding rental experience and vehicle conditions. I am writing to share feedback regarding a recent one-day vehicle rental experience. During my rental, I contacted Hertz to ask for assistance after receiving a low oil warning in the vehicle. I was informed that this was not intentional and that Hertz did not intend to place me in harm, which I appreciate. However, the situation itself was concerning and caused unnecessary stress during the rental period. Additionally, when I returned the vehicle, I experienced unprofessional customer service from the receptionist assisting me at the counter. Scheduled pick up time was 0945. We arrived at the office roughly around 0940. Completed online pre-check in to avoid waiting. Exited this place at 1050 for our wedding at 1100. Overall very disorganized. The car they gave us felt unsafe with mileage of 105k. Enraged at the sight of washing and cleaning the car while having us wait.

Michael (the customer service rep who's been working here for 6 months) is the reason why I continue to rent with Hertz. I travel multiple times per year. Sometimes I try other companies to see if they’ve improved their practices, but doing so just reminds me how great Hertz truly is. The customer service is superb and better than any other rental company I’ve used. The pickup and drop-off process is seamless. You truly can’t go wrong with Hertz. And if you're there between 6pm and 2am, make sure you ask for Michael.
