Hertz Car Rental - Roberts Field Airport Hle

My wife and I rented a car from this location this week. I have rented over a dozen cars over the last 24 months. This location sent my wife away without a receipt. We returned to obtain a receipt. The customer service agent, stated we would get one within two hours. I explained that I do not release assets of this value without documentation. I would not be leaving without a receipt. He told me it would be two hours. I spoke with the lot attendant, he told me to speak with the same individual. He, again refused to issue a receipt, and stayted we would have one within two hours. I called customer service. They stated that location does not "fall within their responsibility" and the contact their front desk, again. They stated I should be getting a receipt within, now 24-48 hours. All tol

I rented with hertz during Thanksgiving and it was a great experience. Originally I tired to rent with another company and my car wasn’t being accepted. After struggling with that for at least an hour, I tried hertz and they approved my card immediately and had me on my way with any further delay. The car provided was clean and fueled up, as promised. The hertz rep was super helpful and he helped me to understand the charges well

I would like to warn everyone! Think very carefully about renting this Hertz location. They are very shady business! I rented my car from there and when I got there with my girlfriend, The agent asked me if I want insurance. I told him no because I already bought insurance through booking.com which they are familiar with. He responded with a yes okay got you. His words did not correlate with what he put in the system. He charged me full coverage insurance even though I already prepaid. My girlfriend still right there and heard the whole conversation. Why would you do that?? It's not complex and it's pretty clear what they are doing and probably have done it to several people. Also, I add I noticed that they don't really fully fill up the tank of gas so the amount of miles estimated I

Please beware of shady business practices at RDM airport with Hertz. Please read Cecric's review below. EXACTLY the same thing happened to us. We bought full coverage when booking with booking.com and told the agent, but he was too busy trying to charm us with humor and charged us full coverage, and now they are saying we "agreed" to it. Why would I waste my money on double coverage? I had a problem last year with another franchise in RDM last year. After a month, 22 emails, and countless hours of frustration, I was able to get my money back. Don't be fooled by a: "We're a franchise, we're NOT those city people." Well, I never had a problem with those "City People" in 30 years in PDX!

After a slow wait for agent to get back to the office, it was a fast easy check in. The office was there at airport with the rental cars right across in the parking lot. Just a little walk and down the aisle and our car was ready for pickup. We're used to driving full sized and SUV cars. Now, right there in space 9 sits a compact car. It was a new car that was painted a bright green. Perfect for finding it in a parking lot for sure. Good thing we will be driving to a few places to stay while drink up the coast and into Canada.
