Hertz Car Rental - Warren - Youngstown Warren Road

My daughter was in a fender bender and needed a rental. The insurance company had set up a reservation for us with Enterprise but they wouldn't help us because my daughter is 18. They would rent her the car but she would not be able to be a driver, what's the point??! I called Hertz and they had no issues. "Sierra" was very kind and helpful. She explained everything to us over the phone and we were able to get the vehicle that day. I will always use Hertz in the future.

If I could give this a 0 star rating I would. We picked up this car as a rental while my vehicle was getting repaired. Someone from Hurtz was supposed to pick me and my son up from the dealership at 4:30. They were around 45 minutes late. When we got to Hurtz located on: 4400 Youngstown Warren Rd, Warren, OH 44484. The vehicle we received was dirty and had a lingering smell of a cigarette; along with cigarette ashes throughout the car. The windshield wipers that were equipped on the car were horrible! The car on the outside was dirty and was clearly not washed. I will not be returning to Hurtz as this experience was the WORST experience I have ever had renting out a car.

Hertz is hard to rent from local dealers airport rental is great local rental always a problem that they charge you more money for drop offs why are you saying the car is dirty or there’s something wrong charging your credit card and never telling you they’re doing it and it becomes a battle between you and the corporate office

If I could leave a zero, I would. Due to a car accident, I found myself needing a rental. Typically I use a competitor when renting for work travel but my private insurance booked me with Hertz due to a contract agreement with them. My first and last interaction. My insurance covers a specified cost per day. Hertz claimed they did not have a vehicle in that class so I would need to upgrade. Per their signed contract with my insurance company, they are supposed to offer an upgrade at no charge if they are unable to provide a vehicle in the required class. Hertz does not honor their contract and the upgrade was going to cost me an additional $110 per week. My insurance immediately argued this was not the agreement but this Hertz location said otherwise. In addition to the bait and switch in

Terrible customer service to start. After dropping the vehicle off, I got a receipt through email. After I had already got one in person when I dropped it off. They charge my card another 500.00 for an "outside cleaning." Meaning to wash the car. Really, a 500-car wash. That's more than the weekly rate. After complaining to customer service, I was finally issued a refund. I wonder how many people don't get push notifications and didn't notice this theft. Never again will use their service, and I recommend you do the same.Update 04/04/2025 These thieves attempted to charge me 211.00 today. After almost two weeks of dropping it off.
