Hertz Rent a Car

If I could give zero stars, I would. I am not someone who usually gives negative reviews, but this experience was beyond unacceptable. I have always been sent to this Hertz location whenever my car is in the shop at Toyota Vandegriff. Most of the time the service is painfully slow, but my most recent experience on September 18 was the worst. I dropped my car at Toyota and was assigned a rental vehicle here. I was given a Kia SUV that reeked of smoke and marijuana. On top of that, the vehicle would not lock—neither with the key nor manually. I didn’t realize this until I got home. I immediately called the employee who gave me the vehicle, and he assured me he would call me back as soon as another vehicle was available. I had a terrible experience here. I was being assisted by an employee who suddenly walked off without any explanation. Shortly after, another employee named Daniel rudely approached me and told me to go over to his desk. He did not explain anything to me and expected me to tap my card without informing me what I would be charged for. After I stated that I no longer wanted his assistance, I began working with another employee. While I was explaining the situation to them, Daniel continued making rude and unnecessary remarks. This is completely unacceptable and not how a customer should be treated especially someone trying to give your business money. Received a 2019 Toyota Camry with 61k miles. Smelled terrible. Don’t recommend if you have a choice. Update: Filled out a survey and never received a call back. Today, I was charged for Tolls while using the car, which is fine. But they added a 9.99 convenience fee that was NEVER disclosed when I picked up the car. This entire building dealer, service department (see my other reviews), and Hertz is a bunch of crooks. DO NOT USE. DRIVE FURTHER AWAY --- THE MINOR INCOINVENCE is worth not having MAJOR HEADACHES.

Most unprofessional, un organized Hertz I've ever encountered. Won't even buy a car from that location. Little Timmy up at the front desk who's name is Tré. Didn't greet us or even want to talk to us or acknowledge us. Sitting up there renting cars looking lil Durk the rapper. With a bright red ball cap, braids hanging out, shorts, t shirt, and Gym shoes on. This is not the gym or basketball court my boy. Tighten up

I had 2 hours to finish up here and get to work 20 minutes away. I lost my job they’re so slow. To whom do we hold account? They will be sued they’re so bad. As I write this I see the guy still vacuuming the car. Couldn’t this be done earlier?
