Saved me thousands!!!! Instead of having to replace my catalytic converter to fix a leak in the flex pipe that was preventing the car from passing inspection, Karl took the time to weld in a new flex pipe for me. Wasn’t our first visit to Hetricks and certainly won’t be our last, good shop with a good crew who will work with you to get what you need done.

I was having a starting problem. They tested everything and weren't able to replicate the issue, but the battery and relay were fine. They suggested I replace the starter but couldn't guarantee that that was the issue, and weren't waiving the diagnostic fee, so they wanted me to pay nearly $700 for a new starter plus diagnostic. While it was there I asked them to check what was making a clunking noise. It took them three days with radio silence to text me and tell me I could take the car back. I asked them if they found the clunking problem, "oh they must have forgotten to check it, but you'll have to come back, we're booked." I wait about a month and go back, they fix the sway bar, I ask them to look at the serpentine belt. They say okay, they'll have to rerack it and take another look, b

This was a great experience. My shock broke through my wheel well, and Carl was able to handle it in no time at all. Respectful and honest explanations throughout the entire experience. Carl also does body work, of which I could’ve opted for but unfortunately I did not have the funds for that; he completely understood and still wanted to help me out as much as he could so that I could safely drive my vehicle.

They lied. They failed rotors and pads on a vehicle with a few thousand miles. Failed the rear pads for thickness that are 7mm thick. They didn't even check them. Said my vehicle I drive everyday sat too long, even though they did last years inspection and it was fine. A relative that's a mechanic pulled everything and found it was a lie. I've been telling others about this scam so they don't come here. It's hard to find an honest mechanic I suppose.
